Salesforce Launches AI Accelerator to Support Education Nonprofits
Salesforce, the customer relationship management software giant, has launched an accelerator program called AI for Impact aimed at supporting education-related nonprofits. The program will provide coaching, consulting, and funding to six organizations over six months. Salesforce will distribute $2 million among the nonprofits and provide them with products for two years to develop their AI initiatives. Students Excited About AI in Classroom, Despite Concerns of Bias

In a series of innovation sessions, many expressed excitement about the potential uses of AI. Salesforce Continues Education and Workforce Development Grants
In addition to launching the AI for Impact accelerator, Salesforce is allocating $14 million in education and workforce development grants to districts in San Francisco, Oakland, New York City, Chicago, and Indianapolis. This brings the company’s total support since 2012 to $233 million. Last year, Salesforce awarded $25 million in grants to school districts and education nonprofits. The grants focused on expanding social-emotional learning in K-12 schools and improving teacher recruitment and retention. Salesforce plans to launch more accelerators in the future to support other sectors.
