Kelly Carlin, George Carlin’s daughter, is crying foul, saying that the AI production is not her father’s work and should not have his name attached to it.
The AI absorbs thousands of hours of George Carlin’s routines to concoct an imitation of his voice, then uses it to spout jokes about Donald Trump, new technology, and a lot of dirty stuff.
The AI claims that this is similar to an impressionist’s act or a biopic, but the comedian’s daughter argues that these AI-generated products are disrespecting her father’s legacy.
Even the world’s best impressionist, Jim Meskimen, isn’t convinced, calling the AI performance unfunny and predictable.
